It's been a busy summer filled with vibrant colours and the sweet scents of all the flowers. It's been a great first year for us as we delve into the world of local and sustainable flower farming. We’re excited to share some highlights from our journey!

Connecting with Nature

 One of the most amazing aspects of this summer has been the thriving wildlife on our farm. We've seen a significant increase in bee populations, more than we have ever encountered before. These essential pollinators have been busy, ensuring our flowers thrive and contributing to the overall health of our ecosystem. Additionally, the presence of butterflies has added a delightful touch to our fields. Watching these beautiful creatures move gracefully from flower to flower has been a joyful experience, showcasing the benefits of our sustainable farming practices.

Community Events and Engagement

 This summer, we had the pleasure of participating in the Glen Wedding Show in Dunfermline. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with couples planning their special day and to share our passion for locally sourced flowers. Another significant event was our open day at Balmule House, where we were proud to be recognized as one of their trusted suppliers. This event allowed us to meet lots of lovely couples and share our story in sustainable flower farming. The support we received was encouraging and highlighted the value of local connections.

Preparing for the Future

 As summer comes to a close, we are turning our focus to planting hardy annuals for the upcoming spring. We are also building

compost heaps to nurture our soil and maintain sustainable farming practices, ensuring a healthy environment for our flowers.
